Gosford was successfully delivered over the in mid-2021. The project involved the replacement of the existing interlocking, which was a mixture of Microlok CBI and shelf relays dating back many decades old.
This interlocking replacement was undertaken with JMDR managing Siemens doing the Westrace elements of the scope and JMDR undertaking all other signalling design related activities.
The JMDR team, undertook this work under contract with SMEC, with the overall Project Client being Sydney Trains.
This project again demonstrated an excellent example of working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to ensure the best for project outcomes.
