Key Accountabilities

Liaise with internal stakeholders and project teams to determine procurement requirements

Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotations to fill order requirements

Creating purchase orders and submit to suppliers
-
Raising/administration on back orders, delivery dates, and other activities of stock within the portfolio
-
Track orders and obtain estimated deliver times when required
-
Receiving and allocation of goods to orders
-
Delivery and logistics organisation to meet order/internal request requirement
-
Asset tracking/Inventory Management and Warehousing tasks

Negotiate contract terms and conditions, to support project schedule and budget
-
Identify and maximise cost-saving opportunities
-
Manage purchasing plans, budgets, and forecasts for the Company

Work closely with the operations, engineering, IT, commercial, and projects teams to effectively manage plans, deliverables
-
Provide reports, analyses, and advice to support procurement decision-making
-
Demonstrated ability to build strong rapport and credibility with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers at all levels
-
Proven experience in dealing with local suppliers and with Technical/commercial issues;
-
Proven ability to achieve project timelines in line with agreed standards and milestones whilst managing competing demands and tight deadlines and stakeholder expectations
Qualification

Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience
Minimum of 7 years of managing the procurement process, ensuring value for money, excellent communication and negotiation skills, organised, ensuring safety and management of the warehouse. SAP and asset management experience are preferable but not essential.
