Construction Manager
 • Direct and coordinate activities required to achieve safety and environmental compliance in accordance with established contracts, agreements, policies, laws and procedures\\r\\n• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs\\r\\n• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors reviewing work progress on a daily basis\\r\\n• Meet contractual conditions of performance ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques\\r\\n• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status\\r\\n• Plan with foresight to prevent problems and resolve any emerging issues in order to limit delays\\r\\n• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks as they arise during the process\\r\\n\\r\\nKnowledge/Experience Requirements:\\r\\n\\r\\n• A minimum of 5 years but preferably 10+ years’ experience in railway signalling engineering\\r\\n• Proven working experience in construction management\\r\\n• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods\\r\\n• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards\\r\\n• Understanding of all facets of the construction process\\r\\n• Familiarity with construction management software packages\\r\\n• Competent in conflict and crisis management including leadership/management skills\\r\\n• Excellent time and project management skills\\r\\n• BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field\\r\\n• 10+ years overseeing mining, wellfield and/or processing construction activities\\r\\n• An excellent safety track record including familiarity with federal, state and local regulatory agencies as well as EHS standards\\r\\n
Salary - AUD 75,000 to AUD 125,000
