Jim Modrouvanos, Director of the Asset Standards Authority, presents JMDR with an AEO Certificate. In February 2015, Jim Modrouvanos and his team visited the JMDR Office, Kent St, Sydney to present their recently awarded AEO Certificate. In 2014, JMDR Australia commenced the journey to become an AEO for Signalling Design, Construction, Testing, Commissioning, Disposal and Signal Systems Assurance. Led by Richard Mifsud, General Manager Engineering, the team worked very hard to further develop systems and document the evidence required to satisfy the AEO requirements. Richard commented that "it meant changing the way we do things and improving processes, which means operationally we are in a better position to meet the future demands of this complex industry." Jim congratulated JMDR and thanked those involved at the ASA and JMDR, and he particularly commented on the ongoing communication required for the success of the AEO process. Navneet Kaur, AEO Facilitator, provided excellent feedback to the team complimenting JMDR's ability to work with the ASA and respond to queries quickly. JMDR's Managing Director, Dilip Goyal, thanked the ASA for their faith in JMDR's capability and he added that "We are very proud to be amongst the early group of AEOs, who are all large multinational engineering firms who possess high rail industry capabilities."
